ICE ATCiB

Functional Overview

ICE ATCiB is an automated ATC environment application that can be integrated
with full flight simulators and other Aviation Training Devices (ATD) to permit
aircrew to interact with simulated air traffic control and realistic airport traffic.
ICE ATCiB employs Adacel’s Intelligent Communications Environment (ICE) with
its embedded advanced speech recognition and voice synthesis technology. ICE
provides the layer of intelligence that permits the simulated air traffic controllers to be fully automated and responsive to
own-ship actions.
ICE ATCiB adds realism by generating a true ground and air traffic situation, with associated communications chatter, that is
within the context of airspace and training scenarios. The application creates this without being obtrusive or interfering with the
own-ship training objectives.
ICE ATCiB provides an easy to use Scenario Creation Tool that allows staff to construct and to modify their scenario library.

ATCiB is available as a complete stand-alone training package with an included flight simulation, or as a system fully integrated with any existing flight training device or flight simulator.
